Justice Sector Partnerships Lead
This is a hands on delivery role focused on opening doors, building relationships, and shaping a scalable national offer. This person will be getting into prisons, YOIs and rehabilitation centres to present our offering to the communities and provide training opportunities outside.
What will you be doing?
The Safety Net Foundation is expanding its work into the criminal justice and rehabilitation sector, aiming to support people with lived experience of the criminal justice system through practical safety awareness, employability skills, and confidence-building initiatives.
This role will lead the development of strategic partnerships across the justice sector, enabling SNF to deliver workshops, awareness sessions, and engagement programmes within prisons, probation services, and community rehabilitation organisations nationwide.
This is a leadership-level volunteer role focused on opening doors, building relationships, and shaping a scalable national offer.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working within or alongside:
- The criminal justice sector
- Rehabilitation or resettlement services
- OR partnerships within public/third sector environments
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experienced strategic mindset with the ability to turn ideas into opportunities
- Confidence representing an organisation externally
- Able to deliver presentations, confident to answer questions and present the SNF vision and offering
What difference will you make?
Partnership Development
- Establish and develop relationships with:
- Prisons and prison education providers
- Probation services
- Rehabilitation and resettlement charities
- Community support organisations
- Act as the main point of contact for justice-sector partners
Programme Expansion
- Identify and secure opportunities for SNF to deliver:
- Short workshops and presentations
- Hazard awareness and “Net Engage” sessions
- Employability-focused engagement
- Support the rollout of a consistent national delivery model
Strategic Leadership
- Shape SNF’s approach within the criminal justice and rehabilitation space
- Advise on positioning, language, and engagement strategies
- Identify funding, collaboration, or sponsorship opportunities
Collaboration & Internal Support
- Work with SNF volunteers to coordinate delivery activity
- Help adapt existing materials for justice-sector audiences
- Ensure delivery is appropriate, inclusive, and trauma-informed
