Do you have expertise in Health & Safety—and ideally food safety too—and want to use your skills to help tackle food waste and food insecurity?
Resurrected Bites is a dynamic, fast-growing charity that stops good food from going to waste and uses it to feed people in food poverty through community groceries in Harrogate & Knaresborough. We’re on a mission to fill bellies & not bins, and we need a sharp, strategic, and experienced trustee to help us do it safely and effectively.
What You’ll Do:
What We’re Looking For:
This is a voluntary role but one with huge purpose and influence. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking charity that’s creating lasting change in North Yorkshire. The Trustee meetings are currently 2h every 2 months. There will be involvement in reviewing our Health & Safety processes on an ongoing basis (with the support of SafetyNest) and we can agree on how much time you can offer.
We are looking for a Health & Safety trustee with a variety of skills, including communication, risk assessment, and a strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and ideally Food Safety too.
We take Health & Safety and Food Safety extremely seriously and we would value having someone with this expertise on our board to help us grow the charity safely.
