Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We’re looking for an experienced financial professional to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer. Join us in guiding our Community Interest Company (CIC) toward sustainable growth and impactful change in the UK.

What will you be doing?

As Treasurer, you’ll oversee the financial management of our CIC, ensuring transparency and accuracy in budgeting, reporting, and compliance. You’ll work closely with fellow board members to support our mission and strategic goals, offering insights to drive financial decisions that help us deliver real community impact. Ideal candidates bring experience in financial planning, accounting, or nonprofit finance, along with a commitment to our values and objectives.

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a Treasurer with a strong background in financial management, ideally within the nonprofit or social enterprise sector. Key skills and experience include:

  • Financial Expertise: Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and accounting. Experience with financial oversight, reporting, and compliance for nonprofits or CICs is highly valued.
  • Strategic Insight: Ability to provide financial insights that inform strategic decisions, helping us grow sustainably and maximize our impact.
  • Understanding of Neurodiversity: A passion for supporting ADHD and other neurodiverse communities, and an appreciation for how art and sports can empower these groups.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with board members and offer clear financial guidance.
  • Integrity and Commitment: Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and our mission to foster inclusivity and support for neurodiverse individuals.

An ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, mission-driven individual who brings both technical expertise and a genuine commitment to helping our CIC thrive and grow.

What difference will you make?

Your expertise will directly support our mission to empower individuals with ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity through art and sports, while uplifting the creative industries. As Treasurer, you’ll ensure we make financially sound decisions that allow us to grow our programs, reach more people, and provide resources to neurodiverse communities. Your guidance will be key to building a sustainable foundation for our CIC, enabling us to foster inclusivity, creativity, and well-being for those we support.
