What will you be doing?

Pretty Powerful is seeking an enthusiastic IT & Website Administrator to support our growing online needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and social impact who is looking to use their skills to make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities:

  1. Website Management:
    • Update and maintain the Pretty Powerful website to ensure all information, including events, resources, and news, is accurate, accessible, and engaging.
    • Implement changes as needed to improve site usability, incorporating user feedback and optimising navigation.
  2. Content Upload & Design Support:
    • Collaborate with our content creators to publish blog posts, event details, and resource pages.
    • Design simple visuals, where needed, to ensure our digital spaces are visually engaging and consistent with our brand.
  3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for tech support within the team, helping troubleshoot issues with our website, email platforms, and any digital tools.
    • Maintain online security protocols and regularly back up website data.
  4. Flexible Scope:
    • While the main focus is on web management, there is flexibility to adapt the role based on your skills and interests. Opportunities to support with data analytics, SEO optimisation, or the integration of new tech tools are available.

What are we looking for?

  • Website Management: Proficiency with website platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace, including design customisation and content updates.
  • Basic HTML/CSS Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML/CSS for minor website adjustments.
  • Content Management: Experience with uploading, formatting, and managing content on a CMS.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve minor technical issues related to websites, emails, and other digital tools.
  • Graphic Design (Basic): Competency with design tools like Canva or Adobe Spark to create simple graphics for the website.
  • SEO Awareness: Basic knowledge of SEO to improve website visibility.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with the team.
