Are you passionate about running, community, and social media? Join Bermondsey Street Runners as our Volunteer Instagram Manager! We’re looking for a creative and motivated individual to help us expand our online presence and engage with our dynamic community of runners.

Role Overview:

As our Instagram Manager, you will be the voice of Bermondsey Street Runners on Instagram, creating and curating content that showcases our activities, spirit, and local partnerships. You’ll highlight our group runs, events, member stories, and the unique character of our community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creativity, storytelling, and connecting people through social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for regular Instagram posts and stories.
  • Create engaging visual content (photos, videos, reels) that captures our group's energy and spirit.
  • Write compelling captions and use relevant hashtags to increase our reach and engagement.
  • Share updates about upcoming events, run schedules, and community news.
  • Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build a sense of community.
  • Collaborate with our members to feature their experiences, achievements, and stories.
  • Monitor insights and analytics to refine our social media strategy and grow our following.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A creative thinker with a passion for social media and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with Instagram features and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Lightroom).
