Working to support all CFK Teams, the People Assistant plays a key role in ensuring volunteer processes run smoothly and that all CFK people policies and procedures are followed.

What will you be doing?

As a People Assistant, you are part of the CFK People Team, supporting all volunteers including Delivery Teams (aka the fantastic teams of volunteers working 'on the ground', designing and delivering our nutrition programmes to empower children & their families to turn away from UPF's and eat real foods in their place!)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Onboarding and Offboarding Management: Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all volunteers receive necessary documentation, have clear instructions, and that their accounts are appropriately activated/deactivated in our systems.
  • Data and Metrics administration: Ensure that all records, databases, and metrics are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Volunteer's guidance: Identify and address concerns within your functional areas, provide operational support to various HR projects, and respond to volunteer inquiries in accordance with project policies and procedures.

What are we looking for?

A degree OR related degree in HR/Administration is an advantage

Prior experience in a similar role

Experience in supporting end to end recruitment (from advertising and onboarding) 

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package including Teams

Previous experience of working for Charities and/or volunteer organisations is desirable but not required

Articulate written and verbal communicator, fluency in English.

A clear and visible passion for improving the health and wellbeing of children through nutrition and activity.
