We are looking for a local,  experienced HR professional to help out initially in an advisory capacity but potentially to become a Trustee for our charity which works with families going through challenging times.

What will you be doing?

We are a charity who supports over 600 families per year in the Stroud and Gloucester districts. We operate using a mix of staff and volunteers through trained home visiting and group support. We run post natal and ante natal groups, perinatenal mental health groups and  Dad Matters groups. Our aim is to support families so that every child has the best possible start in life.

What are we looking for?

HR experience and an interest in the work that the charity does with families. Good communication skills and a desire to work as a team with the board.

What difference will you make?

Your help and expertise will guide and help the charity with HR issues and provide advice if needed on policy changes. It will ensure that we have a diverse range of skills and knowledge to enable the charity to thrive.

Before you apply

Initially we would have an informal chat or meeting with one or two of the trustees.
