IAD is looking for a HNWI Liaison Officer to join the fundraising team to help us grow as an association!

What will you be doing?

The International Association for Democracy (IAD) is an NGO that works to defend and advance democracy around the globe. We link people with their governments and lobby governments to promote, strengthen and safeguard democratic institutions, processes, norms and values at home and abroad. We also work towards raising public awareness about the current state of democracy around the world and what should be done to better defend and promote democracy. The expected time commitment for this position is between 3-5 hours per week.

Objectives of this Role

Research HNWIs that could be potential supporters and endorsers or IAD
Build relationships with these HNWIs
Get donations and support from them, while engaging with them to share what we are doing and the impact of our work
Collaborate with other members of the fundraising team across the other projects to raise money for IAD

What are we looking for?

Previous experience with fundraising or auditing (in personal or professional capacity)
Experience in event planning and networking skills
Basic understanding of Google Workspace and collaboration tools on Google Docs
Passion for promoting democracy, rule of law and human rights
Auditing experience would be useful, but not needed
