Malvern Sea Cadets are looking for experienced Trustees to join our Charity Management Team!

What will you be doing?

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health & Safety Trustee to join our Charity's Unit Management Team (UMT).

Our unit currently hosts 24 cadets each week and we're in the process of growing our charity and upgrading our facilities to welcome even more young people.

We're recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager or Coordinator to join our team as a Trustee to help us ensure compliance, safe systems of training and continual improvement of all Health & Safety at our unit site.

What are we looking for?

  • Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments for activities, facilities and events
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and volunteers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, providing recommendations based on lessons learnt
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety checks, incidents and training
  • Collaborate with the Charity's Unit Management Team as an active Trustee to help foster a culture of safety and awareness

The safety of our young people and volunteers is at the heart of what we do, recruiting an experienced Health & Safety manager is vital to our goals of opening Sea Cadets up to more young people.
