To advise / take the lead for strategy and delivery of the sponsorship fundraising.

What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder & CEO and the senior management team to create and lead the sponsorship fundraising campaign for our Prizes and Awards.

We are looking for an experienced and well-networked sponsorship professional with strong credibility and presentation skills as comfortable working on their own initiative and as part of a team. Ideally we would like someone with experience and who enjoys creating, planning and delivery of big ticket sponsorship. If you have experience running similar Challenge or Innovation Prize competitions this would be a distinct advantage but is not essential; otherwise we are looking for a mix of related or transferable skills including campaign sponsorship lead generation, excellent sponsorship negotiation, good knowledge of sponsorship contracts and a strong closer.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate would be an experienced sponsorship fundraising professional or with transferable skills with a proven track of high value sponsorship business development who would enjoy working with a new social enterprise.

As we are a relatively new CIC we can give the right candidate all the creative license and professional autonomy they require to create a dynamic sponsorship campaign to raise our profile and promote our Prizes and Prize challenges as an opportunity to make their own mark too. The primary skills we are looking for in a volunteer are as follows:

  • The creative leadership, experience and organisational ability to plan, project manage and deliver the sponsorship for the Prize Awards.
  • Sponsorship campaign planning, management and delivery to an accurate and achievable timetable
  • Researching target sponsors
  • Sponsorship negotiation and strong closing skills
  • Sponsors will be aligned with our PR, Media and Communications strategy.
  • Inform the digital marketing strategy to support your sponsorship raising (we have a digital marketing campaign and team to assist with this)
  • Excellent proposal writing skills (the digital marketing team can create these and other marketing materials.)
  • Advise on additional resources / sponsorship team as required

What difference will you make?

As Sponsorship Fundraising Lead your role will play a major role in the future success of our Prizes and campaign goals for peace, climate, CSR and humanitarian care.

What's in it for the volunteer?

This role will appeal to candidates inspired by a challenge, who identify with causes addressing care, peace, climate and CSR and who want to play an active role in major change. Treasure Earth is a new CIC that provides the successful candidate with the creative license and professional autonomy to create a unique and compelling sponsorship campaign. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of team with a strong work ethic and a culture of respect and equality that inspires and motivates all our professional colleagues as valued members of our Prize challenge team.

A few more details

If you don't possess 100% of the skills requested but feel you are a strong candidate nevertheless please do apply as you will be part of a team with a broad skill-set.

As you will be working remotely for most of the role we will of course provide you with as much support as possible.

This application is urgent and we are looking for the right candidate to start as soon as possible.

Before you apply

The company has a strong focus on CSR and although not necessary for this role we particularly encourage applications from candidates with a strong CSR background or previous CSR experience or who share the company's CSR or campaigning objectives.
