Home Leone wants to build a sustainable fund raising group. Now has 70 low cost homes, 5 businesses, 450 children in school, vocational training, medical centre (5,000 people), solar power, potable water and more..

What will you be doing?

We are looking for about 15 hours a week and can be done on any days Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of securing funds from diverse sources. You will play a pivotal role in generating income to support our programs, engaging donors, and building long-lasting relationships with supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy:

Develop and implement effective fundraising strategy and campaigns to meet annual income targets.

Identify and pursue new funding opportunities from individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporate donors.

Create grant applications and funding proposals tailored to donor requirements.

Develop and manage crowdfunding campaigns and social media fundraising initiatives.

Donor Engagement:  Build and maintain relationships with existing and future donors, ensuring regular updates and communication.

Research and maintain a database of funding opportunities including who gives what to what, how and when decisions are made.

Maintain a list of project budgets for what is needed and Home Leone priorities.

2. Marketing

Develop and manage online presence including website and social media platforms

Maintain an appropriate library of case studies and visual assets to support marketing and fund raising.

Use storytelling and case studies to demonstrate the impact of Home Leone’s work.

3. Partnership Development:

Engage corporate partners to secure sponsorships, donations, and employee involvement.

Build strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations to amplify fundraising impact.

4. Monitoring and Reporting:

Track fundraising performance, analyze campaign results, and prepare regular reports for the leadership team.

Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and ethical standards.

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in a fundraising, sales, or business development role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage diverse audiences.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Platform proficiency across CRM, social media, web and online fundraising.

Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh ideas and adapt to new fundraising trends.
