Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

We are seeking a Head of Finance and Fundraising to help us ensure we develop a financially sustainable and independent organisation at the Step Up Network CIC, a network for new and aspiring leaders in education.

What will you be doing?

Role Purpose

To provide effective organisational-level leadership for all aspects of finance and fundraising.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop a finance and income generation strategy.
Be the main point of contact for sponsorships and any partnerships which involves a generation of income.
Develop a fundraising strategy to include fundraising events and multiple fundraising channels.
Write bids and funding applications.
Liaise with the Business Manager for financial management and administration.

Logistics

This is a remote role. Some in-person volunteering may be required for fundraising events.

What are we looking for?

Person Specification

Is experienced with financial management and/or fundraising.
Is a good communicator.
Is a self-starter.
Can work remotely.
Experience of managing virtual events (desirable).
Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
Has a good level of written English.
Good sense of humour.
Has access to a computer and a good internet connection.
Aligns to the values and mission of Step Up.
