What will you be doing?

Want to make a real difference to your community?

Scouts is where young people make new friends, have amazing adventures and learn new skills. The Trustee Board ensures that the Group:

  • Manages money well.
  • Follows Scout policies and relevant legislation.
  • Looks after buildings, insurance, and property.
  • Manages risks.
  • Helps the Scout Group operate well today and in the future.

Exciting Changes Ahead!

The Scout Association is currently transforming the way Scout Groups are managed.  The aim is to clearly define operational scouting from governance.  As part of this restructuring, Hagley Ramblers Scout Group is recruiting new Trustees.  We are keen to recruit a Group Fundraiser to help raise funds in order to maintain the Group's financial security.

Board Responsibilities and Meeting Schedule

The Board of Trustees meets every two months in the evening and holds the Annual General Meeting on a date between April and September.
