We are looking for volunteers from businesses across a range of sectors.

Join us for a unique and rewarding event supporting SEND young people as a mentor for an Enterprise Challenge event.

What will you be doing?

Join us for a unique and rewarding event supporting young people with special educational needs as they take part in a creative, hands-on Green Tech Enterprise Challenge. This interactive session encourages students to explore environmental themes and green technology through teamwork and innovation.

As a volunteer, you'll guide students through the challenge, acting as a mentor and facilitator—helping them shape ideas, ask questions, and build confidence. Volunteers don’t need to work in a “green” industry, but should be passionate about sustainability and willing to engage and encourage students. You’ll be supported throughout by Ahead Partnership staff and work alongside 2–4 other volunteers in a school setting.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for business volunteers who have knowledge of sustainability or technology in their industry - whether this is digital, green or beyond.

We value volunteers who are adaptable in their communication style and enjoy mentoring & inspiring young people.
