In addition to the responsibilities of a trustee the Treasurer’s duties are to:

  • Advise on the financial implications of Green Synergy’s strategic and development plans.
  • Oversee Green Synergy’s financial risk management process by ensuring financial risks are included, assessed and mitigated against in the organisational risk register.

  • Ensure the year-end accounts are prepared and disclosed in the form required by the regulatory bodies and funders.
  • Ensure the year-end accounts are externally scrutinised in the manner required, liaising with the external examiner/auditor as required.

What difference will you make?

The role of the Treasurer is to maintain an overview of Green Synergy’s finances, ensure its financial viability, and ensure proper financial records, reports and procedures are maintained and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

As a Treasurer you will:

  • Have an induction, training and reimbursable expenses
