The role is flexible on how long the volunteer wants to work and all the work can be done remotely with no need to come to our office.

We're seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our remote team. You'll play a vital part in creating professional and visually appealing graphic content that supports our mission of empowering orphans, widows, and the underprivileged worldwide.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities: As a Graphic Designer volunteering with Noor Relief Fund, your primary responsibility will be to create visually engaging and impactful designs that support our organisation's mission and initiatives. Specifically, you will:

  • Collaborate with our marketing and communications team to understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Design a wide range of materials, including but not limited to social media graphics, posters, infographics, email newsletters, and fundraising campaign assets.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and communicate our message and values effectively.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders to achieve optimal results.

Key Deliverable: The key deliverable for this role is high-quality graphic design content that effectively communicates Noor Relief Fund's mission and resonates with our target audience. Your designs will be crucial in raising awareness, promoting our initiatives, and encouraging support for our cause.

Collaboration: You will work closely with our marketing and communications team, to align design projects with organisational goals and messaging. Additionally, you may collaborate with other volunteers or departments to support cross-functional initiatives.

Flexibility: While the core responsibilities of the Graphic Designer role are outlined above, there is flexibility in how volunteers can contribute based on their skills, interests, and availability. Volunteers may be able to propose and execute additional design projects or provide input on creative strategies to enhance our outreach efforts further.

What are we looking for?

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (or similar alternatives).
    • Working knowledge of design principles (composition, layout, typography, colour theory).
    • Experience with image sourcing and copyright considerations.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in creating graphic design materials for social media, websites, or marketing purposes is preferred.
    • Experience working within brand guidelines is a plus.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the marketing and program teams.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
    • A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and design trends is a plus.

We are open to considering candidates with less experience who demonstrate a strong portfolio and a willingness to learn.
