Time

Either in or out of office hours Estimate of time needed:
3-7 hours / week

Take the lead within the Trustee team for grants issues, and support our small Grants team to develop strong funding proposals; manage grant writing projects; monitor progress; develops reports and build relationships with grant funders.

What will you be doing?

The ideal person for this role will have one or more of the following:  

 

  • Experience in obtaining grants for charities or other non-profits 
  • Professional bid writing experience, particularly around writing persuasive bids  
  • Good knowledge of the grants making sector and of possible grant funders 
  • Experience leading a grants team or supporting staff or volunteers 
  • Experience of belonging to, and reporting to, a senior leadership team or board of trustees
