We are looking for someone with experience of writing funding applications to join us, supporting the managing director to secure funding for our projects supporting people with learning disabilties and autism.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a grant/bid writer to work with and support the Managing Director in submitting funding bids to support our work.

You will stay informed about funding opportunities and be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting compelling grant proposals and bids to a variety of funding bodies, including governmental agencies, foundations as appropriate. This will include making contact with funders to check eligibility of proposed projects. You will track and monitor the progress of submitted proposals and provide timely and accurate reports to as required.

This role can be remote or office based and offer as or as little time as you can, which can be discussed with the right person.

Joining us as a grant/bid writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for Spring into Action's services, supporting people with learning disabilities, bringing fresh ideas to our grant funding goals.

Our largest service is a friendship and dating agency for adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults to redeuce social isolation, increase confidence and independance. We have a dedicted volunteer team who support the project as well as people with lived expereince as ambassadors. The impact you wil have is that you will help to secure funds to keep our work going and relive some work from the managing director, who can focus on business development and from a wider perspective, you will have an impact on the 100s of people that engage with our services each year to ensure they have continuity of services

The goal is to secure income to help us deliver services to people with learning disabilites.
