This role is fully flexible as to time and catch-ups will be agreeable between volunteers and the trustees.

We are looking for someone who can research, develop, and write grant proposals that will support the work of our charity, whether it's for our education activities or community projects.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaborative within a team. A passion for children’s education and wellbeing is vital as is being able to express our values, impact and needs by writing compelling proposals that will help showcase our charity and the life changing differences we are making to children and their families.As this role is remote, volunteers will require their own computer and internet access. This is a fully flexible role, with a requirement to attend a meeting with the trustees on dates and times to suit.

What are we looking for?

The ability to research grants that are applicable to the charity and to write compelling applications that showcase the life changing activities the charity carries out.

What difference will you make?

As a grassroots charity grants can make life-changing differences to our pupils and their communities. Whether it's supporting the completion of our primary school, our next project of a secondary school or being able to build new safe and secure homes for the families that need them the most.

Before you apply

As a small grassroots charity, we need an independent volunteer who can keep the trustees up to date with their activities and results. Ideally, we'd love to hear from those who have had successful grant applications or some other fundraising initiatives.
