The role will support identifying and securing funding to advance the organisation's mission of using MMA for youth reform. This includes researching, preparing, and submitting grant applications, and managing deadlines with internal collaboration.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will assist in identifying funding opportunities, support the application process, and help review grant submissions. Your work will play a crucial part in securing the financial resources necessary to further MMARAP’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and researching suitable grant opportunities from trusts, foundations, and governmental bodies.
  • Support the preparation and submission of high-quality grant applications in line with funder guidelines and requirements.
  • Review and evaluate grant applications to ensure they align with MMARAP’s goals and the specific criteria of each funding opportunity.
  • Track grant deadlines and manage the application process to ensure timely submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and information for compelling grant proposals.
  • Maintain records of all grant applications and outcomes, providing regular updates to the team on progress and results.
  • Assist in building and nurturing relationships with funders and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related field is highlydesirable.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive proposals.
  • Familiarity with the grant application process, including reviewing guidelines and criteria. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently manage workloads and deadlines.
  • A passion for youth development and the work of MMARAP UK.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
