Seeking a Volunteer Grant/Bid Writer to research and write grant proposals, helping to secure funding for our charity. This role is key to expanding our impact and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.

What will you be doing?

As a Volunteer Grant/Bid Writer for our charity, you will play a critical role in securing the funding necessary to support our mission of empowering young people. You will be responsible for researching funding opportunities and crafting compelling grant proposals that align with the charity’s objectives and funders’ criteria.

Key tasks will include identifying relevant grant opportunities, drafting and submitting applications, and maintaining a calendar of deadlines for applications and reports. You’ll work closely with our team to develop project descriptions, budgets, and any supporting materials required for successful submissions. Additionally, you may be asked to provide follow-up reports to funders, outlining how their support has contributed to our programs.

This role is perfect for someone with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping young people. Your work will directly contribute to the financial health of the organisation, enabling us to expand our services and reach more young people in need.
