Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

We are looking for a passionate volunteer with strong communication skills who has some track record in grant writing and grant applications to join our Trusts& Foudations' Team.

What will you be doing?

The main duties of the Grant Writer and Researcher will include:

 

Grant applications:

  • Take charge of an allocated list of Trusts and Foundations, check the application terms and conditions to make sure PAWA is eligible to apply.
  • Write the applications, submit on a timely basis according to any application deadlines.
  • Follow up after submission.

Team Communication:

  • Liaise with other teams, mainly the Projects Team and the Impact Team to ensure application content is accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with PAWA’s Communications Team to elevate PAWA’s social media presence which is important for the success of our T&F applications.

Research and Engagement:

  • Explore new and suitable Trusts and Foundations that matches with PAWA’s charitable remit.
  • Analyse and report effectiveness of each application.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative individual who has experience in grant applications able to volunteer on average 6 to 8 hours per month and we are looking for a minimum 2-year commitment.

 

Ideally, the Grant Writer is someone who:

  • Has excellent communication and writing skills. 
  • Has experience in grant applications.
  • Is well-organised, can make decisions, manage time, and prioritise.

You will have a key role in a team of like-minded professionals from diverse backgrounds.  Your grant writing skills/experience will ensure PAWA will have the necessary funding to fulfil our charitable remit to change the lives of girls in Asia, help them to get an education, gain self-respect and to escape poverty.
