What will you be doing?

We are seeking a skilled individual to support the development and execution of our social media and Google Ads campaigns as part of an exciting new project. This role is key to enhancing our online presence, driving engagement, and ensuring we reach the right audiences effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Development and Management:

  • Create, launch, and manage targeted social media and Google Ads campaigns to promote our project.
  • Develop engaging ad content, including text, images, and video, tailored to specific audience groups.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust to maximise reach and impact.

Content Creation and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the team to design a content strategy aligned with our goals and objectives.
  • Produce creative and compelling content to boost visibility and engagement across platforms.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
  • Provide reports with insights, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Use data to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness.

Audience Engagement:

  • Research and identify target audiences to ensure ads reach the right demographics.
  • Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and other social interactions.

Budget Management:

  • Work within budgets to ensure ad spend is cost-effective while achieving maximum impact.
  • Monitor and report on return on investment (ROI) for campaigns.

Trend Monitoring and Adaptation:

  • Stay updated on trends in digital marketing, social media algorithms, and advertising tools.
  • Implement strategies to keep campaigns innovative and relevant.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in social media advertising and Google Ads campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their ad capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and related tools.
  • Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting and basic design.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

What are we looking for?

Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

  • Ability to analyse data and campaign performance metrics to optimise ads effectively.
  • Understanding of audience targeting, segmentation, and engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and reporting on ad spend and return on investment (ROI).

Experience:

  • Proven track record of creating and managing successful social media and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Experience working with analytical tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing, particularly within community-focused or charitable organisations (desirable).
