Mindful Surrey has been in the Google Ad Grants programme for over three years, with a daily budget of $329. We have about 50 site visits a day. We want to improve our ads so as to help more people with their mental health.
We want someone with Google Ads experience to help us improve our ads to promote mindfulness meditation courses and events. These are delivered as live online courses and also in-person (in Dorking, Surrey). You'll be working with Catherine Nasskau, who teaches the courses and runs Mindful Surrey UK. We offer free and discounted sessions to people throughout the UK. This is something that is greatly appreciated by people who are struggling and unable to pay for help.
Our ideal volunteer is someone experienced at using Google Ads and ideally the constraints and opportunities that are in the Google Ad Grants Programme. We want to improve our ad relevance and keyword quality scores. The person does not need experience or understanding of mindfulness meditation, but an appreciation of the importance of mental health is important.
This opportunity could change people's lives. Mental health has rarely been such an issue for so many, and Mindful Surrey UK works to support adults and children, mostly in the UK. What makes us slightly unusual is that we support young people as well as adults, as Catherine is trained to teach mindfulness to 11-18 year olds. By improving our ads, you would help us contribute to a greater number of people of all ages. The Google Ad Grants programme is a great opportunity, one which makes a big difference to our online presence. By working with us, you would have a major impact on helping people reduce stress, manage anxiety, cope with addictive behaviours, improve sleep, and lead calmer, happier lives.
