Polka Theatre is a charity dedicated to ensuring all children have access to theatre. We are looking for a Google Ads Grant expert to oversee and improve our PPC ads performance to drive audiences to our website.  

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Google Ads Grant expert to support us by maintaining our Google Ads account. Having had a Digital expert overhaul our Google Ads a couple of years ago, and a volunteer Ads expert running our account for the past year, the account is effectively functioning, but we require a volunteer to maintain the account to get the most out of the grant in line with Polka Theatre's communications plan. The volunteer will work with our Marketing Manager and Marketing Officer who will help the volunteer to get to know our charity, our users and our goals. 

The volunteer will review our existing grant and Ads, make recommendations where necessary and implement changes to our current campaigns. They will write ad copy and set up and maintain campaigns.

After this initial introduction, the volunteer will continue to maintain our Google Ads, logging in on a weekly basis, to ensure we don’t lose our grant. They will report back monthly on how the campaigns are doing and work with the Marketing Manager to develop tactics to improve click throughs and conversions. 

The team have a good general understanding of Google Ads but need the resource and knowledge support to maintain this to drive traffic to the website and raise our profile, and to make good use of the grant.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who has: 

  • Experience of Google Ads  
  • Expertise in SEO 
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Grants 
  • Has the ability to quickly understand the needs of our team 
  • Organised, proactive, with good attention to detail

All aspects of our charity are centered around reaching as many children as possible and your help and expertise will help ensure more families, schools, community groups and donors are able to find our website and get involved with the array of creative experiences which we offer, by maximising the effectiveness of our Google Ad Grants.
