Frenchay Flower Show has run for 80 years. A team of talented volunteers organises the event to raise money for local charities. Skilled volunteers are required to build and support the team for next year's 80th-anniversary show.

What will you be doing?

A new exciting opportunity to join the experienced and motivated management team of sixteen. This opportunity will interest volunteers with experience of volunteer recruitment, office management and general administration skills, communication, event organisation and record keeping. The role will be working alongside the chairperson and show secretary with a good deal of collaborative cross-over, with small sub-groups working throughout the year to deliver specific projects. The role can be tailored and flexed to fit the strengths and interests of motivated individuals.

What are we looking for?

Good organising and administration skills to manage and recruit volunteers, working across teams to support various disciplines from event management, ticketing, and gate controls, parking and traffic controllers. Good communication and record keeping.

What difference will you make?

This year's annual Frenchay Flower Show (2024) drew an unprecedented crowd of over 4,000 visitors, doubling the previous attendance record. The record-breaking turnout and positive feedback highlight the event's popularity and significance within the community. However, to ensure sustainable long-term growth at this critical time of change and development, your help and expertise will enable us to adapt and flourish and explore new possibilities, activities, and ways of working.  Your contribution will shape how we present ourselves in the community, amongst our significant social media following, funders, and the general public.
