Supporting The View with a wide range of activities and events to raise awareness of the work we do and support the fundraising team in the generation of funds.

What will you be doing?

The fundraising volunteer will support The View with a wide range of activities and events to raise awareness of the work we do and support the fundraising team in the generation of funds. These funds help to change lives and raise awareness of the experience of women in the justice system, whose stories are often hard to hear, but essential for radical reform to create a fairer society. We are a small social enterprise which relies on income from our fundraising activities. By helping us maximise our income you will have a direct impact on the services we can provide and the benefits we can deliver to our service users.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of 3 years or more of individual giving/community fundraising, either through work or previous volunteering
  • Identifying and developing new fundraising initiatives and campaigns to mobilise individuals to support The View
  • Have an interest in or life experience and empathy with the women we support
  • Reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Great people skills, approachable and friendly
  • Organised, methodical, reliable
  • Demonstrate creative and imaginative thinking
  • Good communication skills and confident talking to a wide range of people.

What difference will you make?
