Tenterden Counselling Service provides high-quality, affordable, open-ended counselling to its local community. We need an experienced and dynamic fundraiser to join our Board of Trustees to help us meet the demand for our service.

What will you be doing?

As the Board’s Fundraising representative, you will:

provide governance, strategy, motivation and practical input to this small organisation’s fundraising activity
develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to include grant applications, corporate partnerships and individual giving
track and evaluate fundraising activity, adapting fundraising strategy accordingly
develop and manage fundraising budgets, maximising cost-effectiveness
form and manage donor relationships, keeping donors appropriately informed
create effective fundraising materials including data and narrative

What are we looking for?

Proven experience of grant writing, corporate partnership development and donor management
Excellent communication and influencing skills
An interest in counselling and mental health would be useful

As the Board’s fundraising representative, you will be fundamental to the growth and impact of Tenterden Counselling Service. Your fundraising strategy will help us reach more individuals in need, helping them (and consequently those around them) to lead more fulfilled lives.

Ultimately, your input will help build the financial resilience we need to confidently and consistently reach and help those members of our community who are in most need of help with their mental health.
