The Fundraising Manager organises centralised fundraising such as major events and online initiatives.

What will you be doing?

The Fundraising Manager organises centralised fundraising such as major events and online initiatives. They also provide oversight to the Fundraising Officers within the chapters, ensuring they are supported and capable in their role, offering ideas, advice, assistance and ensuring legal compliance.

What are we looking for?

Our Fundraising Manager needs to have excellent attention to detail and experience in finance. We run a large number of fundraisers in a variety of means that can be tricky to track, requiring strong accountancy/management/bookkeeping skills.

As the Fundraising Manager, you'll be in charge of planning fundraisers and providing advice and support to fundraising officers. As such, someone with experience, that knows the typical pitfalls and is able to come with ideas is vital.

What difference will you make?

Fundraising is vital for any charity. Our opportunities are free for volunteers and we don't charge the charities/hospitals that we work with for our visits in order to keep it open to all. As such, all of our funds for costumes, expenses etc come from fundraisers. These are vital in ensuring our charity is able to remain free and open-access for volunteers and organisations alike.
