Through cultural workshops, films, fashion shows, cultural art, and bespoke creative projects we foster a sense of community and cultural appreciation. As the official community-focused event delivery partner for Cultural Style Week, we have been an integral part of encouraging people worldwide to celebrate their cultural heritage through fashion, hair, and beauty. We have delivered Cultural Style Week events in Cape Town, the Netherlands, Leeds, Sheffield and festivals of events in London.
The role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising Manager / Bid Writer to join our team. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funds through grants, bids, and proposals. Key responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, crafting compelling grant applications, and advising on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will collaborate with program staff, develop persuasive presentations, and report on fundraising activities to meet the organisation’s financial needs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong research and analytical abilities, and a proven track record of successful fundraising for Community Interest Companies.
The Fundraising Manager / Bid Writer will play a pivotal role in the sustainability and growth of Cultural Fashion & Arts CIC. By securing essential funds through grants and proposals, this role ensures the continuation and expansion of our cultural workshops, fashion shows, and community projects. Effective fundraising will enable us to reach more communities, enhance our offerings, and strengthen our position as the official community-focused event delivery partner for Cultural Style Week. Ultimately, this role will help us further our mission to celebrate cultural diversity and foster community unity through the arts.
