Flamingo Chicks is a charity offering inclusive classes for disabled children. We urgently need to fundraise to combat the huge surge in online demand for classes. We’d love your help to run our annual ‘everyone active’ fundraising campaign.
We’re looking for Fundraisers to join our May 100 Fundraising Committee.
Hours: approx 5 per month until May 2022
May 100 brings 100+ people together to each do something active to raise money for Flamingo Chicks.
You’d join our Fundraising Committee working alongside our small Operations team, Trustees and volunteers to dream up creative ways to take part in fundraising, plus recruiting volunteers to get involved. It’ll be an exciting project and one which should be very rewarding in terms of outcome, knowledge and skills to be imparted, and team work.

Our online classes have been received with phenomenal interest and 20,000+ views since they were launched. We've had the most uplifting feedback and know our classes are a lifeline to many.
We're working super hard to spread the message and reach even more people. However, with such a big focus on helping our families who are so vulnerable during this crisis, our tiny team is struggling to do our usual fundraising, and like many charities we’ve seen a significant drop in income, alongside this huge surge for our help.
We're looking for fundraisers to join a new Fundraising Committee we’re setting up, working from mid March until the end of May to support us through our May 100, when 100+ volunteers will raise money by doing a wide range of sports and other events.
You'll be involved with dreaming up creative fundraising ideas, encouraging volunteers to get involved and hopefully taking part in some fundraising yourself.
Your expert skills will be invaluable to maximise our fundraising, which in turn will benefit disabled children and their families throughout the UK.
