South Central Youth is an innovative youth service situated in South London, providing holistic support for young people who are at risk of getting involved with gang culture and crime. Looking for a volunteer to assist with fundraising activities.
Objective
The Fundraising Champion will support the CEO in generating income for the charity. The main responsibilities for this role will be generate ideas for fundraising appeals and to support the CEO in their implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching local corporates and high net worth individuals who may be open to collaborating with or funding SCY.
- Generating ideas for a giving appeal to raise income for the charity and working with the CEO to implement these ideas.
- Serving as a representative of SCY, championing our course of supporting young people in south London.
- Connecting SCY with potential funders and donors or being willing to undertake fundraising challenges on behalf of SCY.
