We are totally flexible and would just need to agree an an induction plan and project timetable with meeting/review schedule.

We're an innovative online charity that provides giving platforms to help all good causes big and small develop recurring income streams. It's all about the happiness that giving brings to companies, customers and communities.

What will you be doing?

Being innovative, we have some great ideas and we have a national reach but little experience in how we could access funding to help us grow and develop new services / capabilities. Just one example is a GivingRaffle we are developing right now that could really help struggling causes all over the UK. We could do with an experienced grant & trust fundraiser to help us understand the opportunities we may have and then help us write and submit proposals if relevant.

We are a small team so you would be working direct with the CEO and wider team over video to understand what we do and where the funding opportunities might be. Our goal would be to secure funding for projects we define together so we can amplify that back out to communities over the UK.

What are we looking for?

Vital:

  • A proven track record of successful fundraising from charitable trusts
  • Experience of grant applications e.g. lottery, landfill tax, statutory funders
  • Desire to meet targets and ability to work flexibly towards those targets
  • Ability to use own initiative, plan and manage own workload
  • A confident communicator, able to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Commitment to, understanding and sensitive communication of our work and values
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Awareness of GDPR and data protection issues

Nice to Have:

  • Excellent IT skills - experience of using fundraising databases would be an advantage

What difference will you make?

The services and projects we undertake and to improve existing income streams or develop new ones for thousands of good causes all over the UK. We want to give away our next £1m as soon as we can and you could help us do that!

What's in it for the volunteer?

This is an opportunity to be part of a unique and innovative digital charity that is all about making giving fun. To help us grow the impact we have to help support medical research, youth welfare, inclusion and pretty much every sector going is hopefully an attractive part of the proposition. Finally, we don't take ourselves too seriously and we'll all have some fun on the journey together
