  • Providing reports and updates to the CEO and/or Trustee Board as needed on income, donors and fundraising plans

What are we looking for?

What are we looking for?

As a small charity our fundraising network has been small. However we now need experienced fundraisers to open up a wider range of fundraising opportunities in a planned and co-ordinated way, including maximising opportunities that arise. We are looking for people who have:

  • A passion for fundraising for small charities
  • Able to work flexibly on your own and as part of a small team with enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering fundraising strategies
  • Knowledge of good fundraising procedures for the voluntary sector
  • Knowledge of current fundraising guidelines and legislation
  • Proven ability in producing effective, and inspiring proposals and funding reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a diverse range of individuals, supporters, donors and volunteers
  • Excellent organisational skills, with experience of proactive planning, managing deadlines and prioritising effectively
  • Good computer skills and a willingness to be contacted via email and/or video chat
  • Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team and organisation (we are not expecting in-depth knowledge of developmental trauma)
  • Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements
  • A commitment to the objectives and core values of Adenydd

What difference will you make?

Your input could make a massive difference to our small charity. As we know, money can be the barrier to creating the change we want to in the world. Therefore, we would massively benefit from your knowledge and advise so that we can raise enough funds to do the work we are so passionate about.

Before you apply

Please apply via Reach in the first instance. You will then be offered an initial informal Teams discussion with one of the team to explore your interest in the role and how we might work together. A further discussion may take place if we both agree you might be a good fit for the charity and the role. All of our appointments, whether volunteer or paid, are subject to our Safer Recruitment Policy which includes the need for 2 references.
