Organise fundraising campaigns to enable us to continue to provide support and advocacy for young people, vulnerable adults and Older people.
As a Fundraising Activity Co-ordinator you will work from home designing and developing fundraising initiatives and activities for community engagement within your local area.
You will organise various campaigns around health and well-being and establish collaborations with individuals, groups and organisations including the NHS, CCG, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, NHS Blood and Organ Donor Trust.
We will assist in raising the profile of RAFFA as a Social Action vehicle addressing the issues that matter to people with their communities. Issues of Safety, Health and Well-being, Poverty and inequality. Mental Health, and Safeguarding in all its guises.
You will support the Charity by finding innovative ways to reduce isolation for the elderly and those who are vulnerable. This may include using the access we have to properties to start groups and clubs.
You will be required to support with Social Media platforms in an effort to raise awareness about the various project and campaigns that you will be running.
You will be required to design publicity material for the various initiatives and establish links with the local voluntary services.
You will set up Go Fund Me pages in the event of International Disasters to enable us to provide support and relief quickly to those in need.
You will have the opportunity to represent RAFFA at symposiums that you will organise to encourage people to talk, network and engage.
You will be required to write finding bids and fill in funding applications to enable sustainable projects.
You will be supported by a dedicated RAFFA contact who will assist with the provision of information regarding the RAFFA business.
