We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to help secure the future of our Samaritans branch. Our branch has been established for 60 years and is managed by an amazing team of volunteers.

What will you be doing?

Working alongside the Treasurer and Trustees you will be responsible for:

Building and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, grant applications, and special fundraising events.
Establishing relationships with donors and identifying potential donors.
Researching, identifying and applying for relevant grant applications.
Planning and executing fundraising events.
Reporting on fundraising efforts and outcomes.

Working as part of a volunteer team you'll have opportunities to socialise, develop and support other volunteers.

Experience in developing a fundraising strategy
Grant application experience desirable
Research skills
Strong writing skills and ability to present complex issues coherently
Meticulous attention to detail
Willingness to learn about our mission and value
Excellent organisation skills
