Extinction Rebellion Global Support seeks a Fundraiser - Major Donors to build relationships with and secure commitments from big ticket donors (individuals, foundations, corporate organisations).

What will you be doing?

Extinction Rebellion Global Support is seeking an experienced Fundraiser – Major Donors to cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporate organizations. Your role will be pivotal in securing substantial financial commitments to sustain our global climate actions. You’ll use your fundraising expertise to engage big-ticket donors, present compelling cases for support, and ensure their contributions align with our movement’s mission of environmental and social justice.

Key Responsibilities:

Donor Identification & Engagement: Identify potential major donors and cultivate strong, lasting relationships through personalized outreach and stewardship.
Pitching & Proposals: Create compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to individual donors, foundations, and corporate organizations.
Relationship Building: Manage ongoing relationships with existing major donors, ensuring their sustained involvement through regular updates, impact reports, and engagement opportunities.
Strategic Growth: Work closely with the fundraising team to develop long-term strategies for increasing donations and deepening engagement from major supporters.

What are we looking for?

Required

Fundraising Expertise: Experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or corporate partnerships, with a track record of securing large financial gifts.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and emotionally compelling cases for support.
Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with high-level donors or corporate stakeholders.

Preferred

Strategic Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically about fundraising opportunities, donor engagement, and long-term support.
Passion for Climate Action: A deep commitment to Extinction Rebellion’s values and goals, with a strong alignment to the climate justice movement.
