Join ASK PIP as a Fundraiser trustee to help support vulnerable children and young people in the care system. Contribute your expertise to guide fundraising efforts, raise awareness, and shape the charity’s strategic direction.

What will you be doing?

ASK PIP Charity is a relatively new CIO charity, established in 2022. It seeks to establish a robust board of trustees to enable us to continue to fulfil its cause. We are looking to recruit a new Fundraiser for the board of trustees.

What are we looking for?

We require that the trustee's secretary be passionate about supporting and advocating for children in the care system, children in need, and low-income families.

Experienced in board development and organisation, legal and regulatory compliance. Good communication and liaison. Good record-keeping and document management. Excellent organisation skills and good knowledge of charity governance. Proactive approach and commitment to ASK PIP's mission.

What difference will you make?

ASK PIP is seeking Fundraiser Trustees to help drive fundraising efforts, secure financial resources, and ensure the charity’s long-term sustainability. You’ll work alongside the board to shape fundraising strategies, identify new opportunities, and support events and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Strategy: Collaborate on the development and execution of fundraising strategies.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Engage potential donors and partners through your professional networks.
  • Campaign Support: Help plan and promote fundraising events and initiatives.
  • Resource Development: Advice on expanding and diversifying fundraising channels.
  • Governance: Contribute to the charity's governance and strategic direction.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, or business development is a plus.
  • Passion for supporting children, young people in the care system, children in need, and low-income families.
  • Strong networking abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Collaborative and committed to the charity’s mission.
