Sutton Sea Cadets, based in Wallington, is a youth organisation (registered charity) with the aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment
To help us achieve our aim we are looking for a Fundraiser Trustee to join our Unit Management Team, (UMT) who, collectively, provide support to the running of the Unit.
This is a voluntary role and an ideal opportunity for someone, whether retired, and looking for a new activity, or working with some spare time, and who is keen to work in the community.
The Fundraiser Trustee is pivotal to achieving our aims by way of working with the team to highlight our needs, prioritise the fundraising programme and source opportunities to secure funds.
This is mainly a home-based role with the UMT meeting once per month plus ad hoc meetings and activities as required. Access to a Laptop/PC is a requirement of the role.
The UMT Fundraiser Trustee is appointed to develop links and identify fundraising opportunities.
As part of the UMT, the Fundraiser Trustee is collectively responsible for the running of the unit at a strategic and management level.
We are looking for someone who has previous Fundraising experience, very much a team player, can contribute beyond their remit, and is prepared to get involved. Someone who is willing to get involved in discussion and debate and support solution finding with input and ideas.
This is a voluntary role and an ideal opportunity for someone, whether retired, and looking for a new activity, or working with some spare time, and who is keen to work in the community.
We are looking for someone to join a small team of Trustees who is keen to work in the community and within a youth organisation. Whilst the main and specific role is to be the Fundraiser to the Unit, this position would suit someone who is prepared to get involved in all the functions of the Unit.
Our strategic plan is very much dependent on the sourcing of funds to support our Facilities Trustee to deliver a programme of enhanced facilities. This calls for the Fundraising Trustee and the Facilities Trustee and Marketing & Communications Trustee, working closely together and supporting each other in the delivery of our plan.
