Bridge the Gap  Ending Digital Poverty CIC is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Fundraising Volunteers. 

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to technology for all. Your responsibilities may include organizing fundraising events, reaching out to potential donors, assisting with grant applications, and brainstorming creative fundraising ideas. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community and contribute to initiatives that tackle digital poverty head-on.

What difference will you make?

What will I be doing?

  • Supporting the organisation  to help raise vital funds and the profile of our organisation. You will attend regular meetings throughout the year to discuss and plan events.
  • getting involved with leading engagement events 
  • creating new event ideas to boost our fundraising efforts.
  •  build links with local businesses and maintain existing connections to increase their financial and in-kind support of our work (such as providing raffle prizes and venue space).
  • assist at events
  • working alongside social media teams 

What else do I need to know?

  • You will need to complete an application form and complete our recruitment and onboarding process.

 

Commitment 

  • Our roles are flexible. However we do require a minimum of  6-12 Months commitment for this role. 
  • To be able to meet every month for about 1 hour and a half to discuss updates and plans for next steps
  • communicate effectively with the team
