We would like help in organising fund-raising events to be successful for our new registered charity. What difference will you make?

Men’s mental health is a real problem, 75% of suicide is by men. We are passionate about dramatically reducing theses number, you can be part of this important mission. The His charity has a fresh new approach to dealing with men’s mental health and our methods are working well. You will be helping us to promote our charity and destigmatise men’s mental health in a fun relaxing way. You will help Generate much needed funding. Teach us on how to be successful with future events.

We have found through past events that this is a great way to encourage people to come together and talk freely in a friendly environment. Men find the subject hard to talk about due to the sigma attached of not being strong, hence there are so many men choosing to end their life rather than seek help for their mental ill health. We have found that if men are given a platform to open up in a safe secure way they will ask for help. fantastic events helped by you making a them successful with your knowledge will make an atmospheres to distigmatise and enable men to have the courage to contact us. Funds raised go to making a real difference.

What's in it for the volunteer?

The opportunity to be part of a new charity and help us grow. to decrease the suicide rate and help men recover from mental ill health, be part of an industry that really needs more attention as there simply are very few resources for men.

Currently we are all volunteering our time. The directors are working towards sourcing enough funding to pay some of our hard-working volunteers to secure them part time and full-time employment. We will always need funding which makes your role so very important to eventually be a paid role. We are a friendly team with a great attitude and working with us will be rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.
