What will you be doing?

We are seeking a financially qualified individual to join our highly capable and committed Board team and to Chair our Audit Committee. You will contribute to the strategic oversight and operational assurance responsibilities of the Board. This will include, but not be limited to the academic direction, strategic planning and mission of the College, supporting the decisions of the Board and its committees once they have been reached, on the basis of collective responsibility.

What are we looking for?

We require a financially qualified Board member to join our highly capable and committed Board team and to Chair our Audit Committee. In particular we are seeking individuals who:

• are excited by the vision and the ambition of GB MET and can contribute to a strategic, cohesive and effective Board

• have Board level experience, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well energy and commitment

Board members provide valuable expertise by applying their professional skills and experience to the Board in a non-executive role. They contribute to the academic direction, strategic planning and mission of the College, supporting the decisions of the Board once they have been reached.
