Visitors from Fifth Day

Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are looking for someone who can support one of our trustees with the financial aspects of the charity.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for someone with excellent numeracy skills and experience working within a finance environment. The ability to work independently and collaborative within a team. A passion for children’s education and wellbeing.

As this role is remote, volunteers will require their own computer and internet access. This is a fully flexible role, with a requirement to attend a meeting with the trustees on dates and times to suit.

What are we looking for?

Experience in maintaining accounts and using financial systems, as well as producing annual accounts and reports.

What difference will you make?

As a grassroots charity, we have no paid administration staff and currently one of our trustees is responsible for our accounts but with four young children, she needs support! The volunteer will support with the finances, keeping the accounts up to date and maintaining a spreadsheet, which details all the current sponsors we have for children at The Roof of Africa.

Before you apply

As a small grassroots charity, we need an independent volunteer who can work remotely with the trustee responsible for the financial aspects of the charity.
