What will you be doing?

As a Finance Volunteer at Edukaid, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our financial management systems. You will ensure accurate record-keeping, help implement triple entry accounting, generate financial reports, and coordinate with our accountant. This position is ideal for someone with a background in finance or accounting who is passionate about contributing to educational development.

We would be delighted for you to join us in sharing your skills to make a difference to the lives of others.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Understanding of triple entry accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google sheets and other financial tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for educational development and non-profit work

What difference will you make?

Your contribution to EdUKaid's work will enable the organisation to run more efficiently. Doing some financial administration tasks as well as looking at how we are recording our finances and giving us advice on triple entry accounting if you have a lot of experience in this area. If you do not have experience in triple entry accounting, there are still other financial tasks that would hugely benefit the charity.
