We need an experienced Facebook practitioner to help us attract litter picking groups and others to join our behaviour change project.

What will you be doing?

Our LitterNet project is a cross sector network set up to bring people together, change behaviour around litter and help cut the flow of single use plastic into the ocean.

We are looking for an experienced Facebook practitioner to work with us to produce professional content that will engage with litter-picking and other interest groups.

We would like the designer to:

  • Review and re-vamp our Facebook page
  • Produce content in line with the messages from our LitterNet project website

You will be working with one of our trustees who will provide any background material you will need as a starting point

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who:

  • Has a basic understanding of climate issues
  • Is an imaginative and visually creative individual with a passion for design
  • Has experience of developing Facebook content
  • Has experience of working within a brand identity and developing design based on existing materials.
  • Has the ability to quickly understand the needs of our team / organisation / users
  • Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements
  • Understands the resource constraints of a small charity and is able to work within these

What difference will you make?

Your creative input will shape how we present ourselves to users and funders. With your help we will be able to convey our underlying professionalism and experience to promote a new national project.

What's in it for the volunteer?

You would become part of our small, friendly team, using your time to make a real difference in difficult times and to contribute your ideas to help solve one of today’s pressing environmental challenges.
