We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Trans Pride Brighton and Hove.
We are looking for individuals with experience at a trustee or senior leadership level within the charity or non-profit sectors. With the 11 years of Pride event growth we have experienced, and since opening the UK's first trans focused community centre, we have outgrown our status as a small charity and are looking for people who can help us navigate the next phase of our charity.
Please note we welcome applications from the trans, non-binary, intersex and gender-variant community. Further to this, we recognise that those from Black trans communities, and non-Black People of Colour are under-represented in our team, as well as those with disabilities. As a course of positive action in order to improve the community representation in our team, we actively encourage applications from these under-represented groups. We also recognise that cisgender allies may not be subject to the same structural inequalities which affect the TNBI community so we welcome applications from people who would like to step up and support our charity with time or expertise.
