We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to be the first port of call for our growing global organisation as the virtual global headquarters coordinator.

What will you be doing?

The appointed volunteer will work under the direction of the Virtual Global HQ Manager (VHQM) to be a key administrator within our organisation. The volunteer will:

  • Act as the first port of call for enquiries from other organisations and partners to our network.
  • Manage the enquiry inbox for the organisation, directing messages to the appropriate team, department or directorate.
  • With the VHQM, coordinate the EdConnect calendar.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Team including the CEO.
  • Supporting the VHQM to act as the lead for health and safety including being the policy owner for policies relating to business continuity and emergencies.
  • With the VHQM, provide support including administrative help to members of the executive office team including those who work in strategy, partnerships, legal, governance and compliance.

What are we looking for?

Has experience in at least one of the following fields: office management, administration, personal assistant, facilities and/or corporate communications.

Is organised and efficient.

Is passionate and dedicated.

Is able to coordinate different groups of people.

Is a proficient user of Microsoft Office and Google Drive. 

Ideally has experience of using Wordpress.

What difference will you make?

We started as an Instagram group of trainee teachers looking to support each other in the first UK lockdown of 2020. Since then we have now become a network of over 1100 members across 18 countries. It is not sustainable for our network steering group (NSG) of six people to continue leading strategically the development of our network alongside the operational day-to-day running of the network. We are seeking people with a range of backgrounds, skills and experiences to support the development of our network.
