The Edinburgh Cup - International Youth Football Festival is the UK’s largest football tournament, hosting thousands of youth footballers and families from across the UK and beyond in Edinburgh. This event is held at two of Scotland’s Premier Facilities, including Oriam, Scotland’s National Performance Centre and Peffermill Sports Village.

 

Role Description

 

The Event Operations Manager will lead day-to-day operations for The Edinburgh Cup - International Youth Football Festival. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Edinburgh City, with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include managing on-site logistics, supervising staff, communicating with vendors, budgeting, and event planning.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Operations Management and Event Planning skills
  • Customer Service and Communication skills
  • Budgeting and financial management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience in event management or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field

 

 

A background in sports or youth events is a plus, as is experience working with volunteers and managing large teams.
