What will you be doing?

We are dedicated to ending gender-based violence and inequality.  Our small team is in need of a highly motivated and passionate Events Manager and Fundraiser to join our team. We are seeking an individual with a dynamic personality who can bring fresh ideas and innovation to our organisation. 

Events play a key role in raising funds, increasing awareness, and engaging with the community. We need a dedicated and organized individual to plan, manage and execute successful events on our behalf.

Ideally you will have several years experience and will be able to immediately step in and take charge of this area. We need someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record of managing fundraising campaigns and events successfully.

What are we looking for?

What we need:

  • Plan and manage fundraising events, including black tie events and community drives.
  • Organise non-fundraising events such as educational workshops, networking gatherings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Coordinate logistics, venues, suppliers, and schedules to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team and volunteers to align event objectives with our mission.

Deliverables:

  • A well-structured event calendar with fundraising and non-fundraising activities.
  • Successful execution of events, ensuring positive experiences for attendees.
  • Event reports outlining outcomes, impact, and areas for improvement.

Collaboration: You will work closely with our leadership team, volunteers, and external partners to ensure successful event execution and promotion.

Flexibility: This role is adaptable based on your expertise and availability. We welcome volunteers who can contribute on an ongoing basis

Your role will directly contribute to changing lives and stopping the cycle of gender based violence (GBV). events . Through well-executed events, you will help us raise vital resources for our programs, raise awareness about (GBV), and encourage community engagement. Your work will have a lasting impact on our ability to produce positive outcomes for victims affected by gender-based violence.
