Responsible for the planning, organisation and running of conferences, seminars, masterclasses.

What will you be doing?

  • To lead the development and delivery of the Events fundraising strategy and the events portfolio.
  • Collaboratively working with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications to lead a schedule of events.
  • Work alongside our youth board to create engaging events for fundraising and income generation. 
  • Maximise net income from Events and existing Events fundraising supporters, and identifying, securing and developing new relationships with potential partners.
  • To develop and implement a marketing and PR strategy for all the Events in the portfolio to maximise ticket sales and income.

What are we looking for?

You will have:

  • A track record of working in Events. (Charity sector desirable)
  • Highly numerate with demonstrable experience of preparing and managing budgets.
  • Good organisation skills, and competent in the use of Word, Excel and databases.
  • An inspiring leader, who has previous experience of developing the skills and confidence of their team.
  • Highly creative and innovative. 
  • A commitment to supporting young people living with moderate to severe mental illness

As events manager, you will play a key role in supporting the re-launch of this charity. Our success in fundraising through evens will enable us to do the much-needed work in supporting young people living with moderate to severe mental illness.
